Atlanta Falcons Week Ten Grades Vs Cleveland
Mohamed Sanu – Wide Receiver
Mohamed Sanu had a rough day at work in week ten. Was targeted seven times and made six catches. However he gained just 47 yards, a sub par 7.8 yards per catch. Sanu gained just one first down and his longest catch was only 11 yards. PFF gave him a coverage grade of 47.6.
The most notable error by Mohamed Sanu was his fumble. The turnover killed the Atlanta Falcons first drive of the second half, and took away an opportunity to take the lead. The Browns scored on the following drive and took a commanding lead. Sanu is typically solid, so this less than stellar effort shouldn’t be a concern going forward.

Tevin Coleman – Running Back
Tevin Coleman hasn’t been the number one running back the Atlanta Falcons hoped for, after losing Devonta Freeman to injury. He has just two 100 yard games on the season. The offensive line shares a portion of that blame, however Coleman’s vision often leaves a lot to be desired.
Tevin Coleman ran the rock 11 times, for just 44 yards against the Browns. Take away his 18 hard run and he only gained 26 yards on 10 carries. He made three first downs runs on the afternoon. He was graded 58.1 as a runner.
Tevin Coleman was targeted five times in the passing game, making three catches for 19 yards. Two of the catches went for first downs. Unfortunately he also dropped a pass. His receiving grade was 39.1.
The Atlanta Falcons must get back to running the ball effectively, to take pressure off of the passing game that continues to shoulder the load. Tevin Coleman playing better is key to the turnaround.

ATL ALL Day Grade: D
The Atlanta Falcons face the Dallas Cowboys in week 11. The matchup is essentially a playoff game, because neither team can afford to lose and stay alive in the playoff race.
The Dirty Birds currently sit at 4-5. A sixth loss would mean they must go 6-0 down the stretch to make the dance. That’s too daunting of a task, even for a team that’s as talented as the Atlanta Falcons.
On the flip side, if the Atlanta Falcons win and get back to .500, they are likely to get linebacker Deion Jones back, and will have a great chance to earn a wild card spot. Beating the Cowboys here in Atlanta is paramount.
Prediction: Falcons 30 Cowboys 24
