1. The Underdog Houston Texans Deserve a Super Bowl Ending in Atlanta

If there is one thing Atlanta sports fans can relate to it is ineptitude and seasons of disappointment. The Texans have endured both for far too long as they are yet to win or even appear in a Super Bowl.

Deshaun Watson is a player many fans around Atlanta will remember well from his seasons with neighboring rival Clemson. Watson is born winner who says all of the right things and does whatever it takes to put his team in a position to win.

The Texans play an interesting brand of offense, one that will keep Falcon’s fans entertained. They have no shortage of star power on both sides of the ball despite being heavy underdogs in a loaded AFC.

Watching a team take down the Patriots or Steelers would be satisfying for Falcon’s fans along with watching a team win their first Super Bowl.

J.J. Watt is another easy player to pull for and an underrated story line in the NFL season. Watt has fought injuries for two years, injuries that looked to derail one of the greatest defensive careers we have seen in the modern NFL.

His career looked to be trending in the wrong direction and many thought he would never be the same player again. He has proven that narrative wrong, piling up 12.5 sacks leading an entertaining boom or bust Texans defense.

Houston winning their first Super Bowl in Atlanta would be a story all Falcon’s fans could live with to end 2018.
