For at least a week Atlanta Falcons fans will be pulling for the Eagles and the magic surrounding their quarterback Nick Foles. Foles will be heading to New Orleans to take on the Saints.

There may not be a team that Atlanta Falcons fans hate more than the New Orleans Saints. With the Super Bowl set to be hosted in Atlanta, next to the Patriots the Saints are the last team fans want to see come to Atlanta.

With that in mind, next week the Eagles will travel to take on the Saints on the road. After a close win against the Bears, the Eagles and Nick Foles will have another huge opponent to take on.

If the Saints were to win the NFC they would travel to Atlanta and be using the Falcon’s practice facilities. This fact doesn’t sit well with many Falcons fans who would prefer watching a team other than the Saints in their home stadium.

Nick Foles magic is undeniable at this point in his career. Coming off of a Super Bowl MVP performance Foles was average at the start of the season and was benched as soon as Carson Wentz was healthy.

Wentz was injured late in the season with the Eagles playoff hopes on life support. Foles enters and the Eagles seem unable to lose, that includes a tough one-point win over the Bears this past week in the Wildcard round.

The question for Foles now is can the magic last long enough to take down the Saints?  While Falcons fans are hopeful the magic will continue it seems doubtful Foles can take down a complete team in the Saints.

The Saints have a loaded offense and a dangerous defense that has improved every week. Foles must continue his run and take down a better team in New Orleans next Sunday as the Divisional Round gets underway.
