1. Bring back Dominant Closer and Hometown Favorite Craig Kimbrel

This move would be huge for Atlanta, and the fans would love to see a fan favorite come back to where his career started. Kimbrel is still sitting on the market, but he isn’t in any rush to sign with any team.

Kimbrel wants to get paid. After winning a title in Boston, Kimbrel’s talks with Boston have gone stale. If the Braves could work out a short term deal that pays Kimbrel the money he’s looking for, this could be a great deal for both sides.

This would mean Kimbrel would be willing to come back to the Braves on a short term deal. That would be a risky bet for an aging reliever.

That could be the reason the deal isn’t done with Atlanta or any team yet. Kimbrel would immediately sure up this Braves bullpen as soon as he signed. The Braves bullpen is deep, but having Kimbrel to close for this team would be a game-changer.

Kimbrel has the experience of winning a title. Bringing in that kind of experience would be a huge asset for this locker room full of young guys. It’s all a matter of years and money for Kimbrel, but if the Braves want to win this season bringing in Kimbrel would be a good start.
