1.  Bring Back Former Fan Favorite Brent Grimes

There is no way of predicting what the Falcons will be in the draft. They could love Greedy Williams or Deandre Baker, but, I don’t see the Falcons going cornerback, but anything is possible. There is no way to know if those two guys will even be there when the Falcons are drafting.

So, do the Falcons want to give Grimes a chance at a return and a chance to play the third cornerback? I don’t think so, but if Grimes is up for a one-year deal at the minimum, it could be worth a flyer for the team.

With Robert Alford and Brian Poole, both exiting this offseason has taken a big hit to Atlanta’s secondary depth.

The Falcons are going to be putting a lot of pressure to Damonte Kazee to back up the big season he had last season. I think Kazee is up to it, and we all know what Trufant is capable of. And with the return of Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen from injury, the Falcons secondary will be in good shape. I think Grimes could come in here, with little pressure, and provide this team with effort and a veteran presence. Maybe he could even make a few plays for his first team. I don’t think it’s likely, but it’s possible.
