The Atlanta Hawks may be a lottery pick team this season, but next season will change this team’s fortunes. The 2020 Hawks are going to be a playoff team led by a young core of Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, and John Collins.

Looking at the Atlanta Hawks current season it is easy to discount them for their record. But for the Hawks fans who have stuck with the team and have been paying attention, they know the exciting things that are to come.

A young core of Trae Young, John Collins, and Kevin Huerter has emerged in Atlanta.  A young core that will take the Hawks back to the playoffs in 2020.

With a full off-season ahead to make impactful additions and two more first-round picks Atlanta is primed to take a huge step forward.

These additions along with a full off-season of growth for Trae Young will benefit the Hawks and push them back to the playoffs in a very weak Eastern Conference.

Young is a dynamic player who is going to change the culture of basketball in Atlanta. He is going to take what was a dismal team and lead them back into contention for years to come. His ability to share the basketball while still maintaining his ability as a scorer is impressive.

He is the type of player always putting his teammates first in LeBron like fashion while still coming through and attacking as a scorer when his team needs him the most. He is a good player who already has proven just how dynamic he can be.

If he can continue to improve his shooting and find any form of consistency he will quickly become one of the top guards in all of basketball. He shoots with Curry like range and has the ability to pass at an elite level.
