Forget the “GOAT” Discussions and Look at the Player and Teammate that Julio Jones is
In a age where MJ VS. LeBron and who is the “GOAT” discussions dominate the sports media oftentimes things that are so simple can be made difficult. It is hard to see who the actual best player is when so much time is wasted attempting to debate or find a weakness.
When it comes to Julio Jones for all intents and purposes the debate should be over, in my opinion. No other player has had the consistency, the plays, or the selflessness that Julio displays on a weekly basis.
He works hard and helps his teammates without being about Julio. That is a rare quality in a wide receiver. One that should keep Julio in Atlanta for the remainder of his career. Not only is he the better teammate he is simply more talented.
One of my favorite things I have heard said about Jones is if you were building a wide receiver in Madden he would look and play like Julio Jones.
Jones is a freak of nature, a monster who does things on a football field no normal receiver can do. He is without a doubt the best receiver in football and will continue to help Atlanta’s passing attack.
