Julio Jones Has the Best Game of His Career With a Pair of Touchdown Grabs

2014 Stats- 104 Receptions-1,593 YD’s-6-TD’s

The 2014 season was disappointing but the Falcons played more consistently and Julio Jones was healthy once again. This is the season, in my opinion, that established Jones as one of the best receivers in the League.

Jones was an absolute monster playing consistently and helping what was a frustrating offense. Sound familiar?   Jones’ best game can be seen above while he may have had more single catches the game he had against the Packers easily tops this list.

With an underperforming roster and getting beaten badly by the Packers, Julio Jones and Matt Ryan went to work. Together they pulled their team back within reach as Julio had a monster game.

Down 31-7 Jones breaks a 70+ yard play helping start what was an improbable comeback that came up just short.  Jones finished the game with 259-yards and a score.

Without a doubt, this was Julio’s best performance of 2014 and his best catch was the long 70+ yarder to breathe life back into this Atlanta offense. One of the more exciting games of another dismal season,  now on to my personal favorite in this Julio countdown.
