The Atlanta Falcons haven’t been completely quiet this off-season. However, most of their moves have come on the offensive side of the ball with additions to the offensive line and tight end position.

The Atlanta Falcons offense seems to be shifting to a power running identity with the addition of Dirk Koetter as the newest offensive coordinator under the Dan Quinn regime. The defensive side of the ball, which Dan Quinn will be taking over duties of this coming season, hasn’t gotten the free agent attention the offense seems to be getting.

We can assume the holes on the defensive side of the ball will be filled through the draft. Quinn has been a very good drafter when it comes to defensive players, so until we see otherwise, we will all have to trust the head coach’s judgement.

The Falcons have plenty of needs on the defensive side of the ball. The question is, what positions will be filled during the draft? Here are the most dire needs for the Falcons defense.
