Now, two weeks on, the dust has settled from the NFL Draft. The Falcons are being panned for the draft they had, mostly by Football Outsiders, a site that had the Falcons 2016 Draft as the 2nd worst-draft class of that year, a class that included Keanu Neal, Deion Jones, Austin Hooper, and DeVondre Campbell. Ranking of draft classes this early is a waste of time and energy. Someone could argue you should wait 2-3 years before judging a teams draft class, but that’s not the world we live in. The world we occupy has the Falcons 2019 Draft as a complete and utter failure, but that doesn’t mean the team is done adding players.

The Falcons are cash strapped and set at almost every position on the field, but that does not mean they are done adding players to this team. There is still a slew of free agents on the market that can help Atlanta this season. It’s just a matter of what the Falcons, namely Thomas Dimitrov, are willing to spend. If Dan Quinn loves this roster, which I’m sure he does, the Falcons could stay pat. If the Falcons see the desire the add more help, like I think they should be doing, they will go out to make the moves that need to be made. Here are some players who are still available that could make an impact for the Falcons.
