NBA Comparison
Physically Kevin Porter Jr. compares favorably to Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters. Waiters is also a good comparison for Porter Jr. game wise. Waiters, a former top five pick is not a great player by any means, but he had a two month hot stretch in 2017, in which he averaged more than 17 points per game, while shooting over 40 percent from three-point range. If he reaches his ceiling, that’s the type of production that Kevin Porter Jr. is capable of on a consistent basis. NBAdraft.net offers former Atlanta Hawks guard DeShawn Stevenson as a comparison for Kevin Porter. Interestingly Trevor Marks of FanSided’s Busting Brackets, also offers Dion Waiters along with Nick Young, as NBA comparisons for Porter. NBAdraftroom.com compares Porter to a combination of Miami Heat forward Justice Winslow and San Antonio Spurs guard Lonnie Walker.
