Even with a great draft, it is still fun to speculate about the possible outcome, had the team decided to stand pat and maximize its six draft picks. Click the links of the players draft card, 5o view scouting reporta, highlights or pick analysis.

We will use our Atlanta Hawks Draft Big Board from prior to the draft, to help make the selections. We now know how the order of this year’s has unfolded, so we can have a good idea of what picks the Atlanta Hawks could have possibly made.

With that being said, let’s redo the 2019 NBA Draft for the Atlanta Hawks without trades.

Atl All Day Draft Redo Round 1 Pick 8

ESPN Scouting Report. Chat Sports Pick Analysis. Wing. player. 434. Duke. Cam Reddish. 8.

With the eighth pick in our draft redo, the Atlanta Hawks select Cam Reddish from Duke University. Reddish is a smooth 6’8 208 pound small forward, who can also play shooting guard. Having the knowledge that the Cleveland Cavaliers were very high on De’Andre Hunter, it is fair to assume that he would not have dropped to pick eight.

Having no interest in the raw Jaxson Hayes, who New Orleans selected with Atlanta’s original pick, there was no reason not to select Cam Reddish, who the Hawks have loved for a long time. Cam ranked number two on my Hawks big board, as a great fit for the Atlanta Hawks.

Cam Reddish has all of the tools to be a great player, but with all of the good, there are still some issues that Cam must correct. Rashad Phillips of Sports Talk 2319 gave Cam Reddish a glowing review and thinks that he has All Star potential. See for yourself in the following scouting video:
