With pick number 44 in the Atl All Day Draft Redo the Atlanta Hawks select, forward Yovel Zoosman from Israel. Zoosman measures 6’8 and tips the scales at 200 pounds.

Unfortunately for Zoosman, he was not selected in the 2019 NBA Draft. He is the tenth best player and best international prospect to go undrafted according to ESPN. He helped his team win the FIBA European Under 20 Championship and was awarded MVP of the tournament.

Yovel handles the ball well and uses the dribble drive to make his way towards the basket. When he gets to the rim, he uses a variety of scoop shots and runners off the glass to score.

Yovel Zoosman is also a pretty good passer, who is able to hit both cutters and shooters off the dribble. He has a high IQ on offense and is adept at cutting to the right spots, at the right time. Yovel has a solid shot from three-point range, that continues to improve. A lack of foot speed and awareness limit his ability as a defender.

Though Zoosman went undrafted, he is the beneficiary of the Atlanta Hawks roster logjam in our redraft. He would have given the Atlanta Hawks a second stash prospect to develop. NBA Draft Junkies gives us a look at Zoosman’s strengths in the following video:

Even if such stash prospects never come over, they are valuable to use in trades. Atlanta including former second round pick Isaia Cordiner in the Jeremy Lin deal prior to last season, is a prime example.
