2. The Atlanta Braves Get Their Starter and Bring Former Brave Mike Minor Back to Atlanta

If there is one thing that has been a constant with the recent Atlanta Braves front office it is the fact they don’t mind reunions with former Braves.  Brian McCann has been the most recent and successful of the Braves recent reunions.

Now it is time to add another name to that list and bring back former Braves starter Mike Minor. Minor is finally healthy and producing like the starter Atlanta fans expected him to be what feels like many seasons ago.

A reunion makes sense for both sides. Atlanta needs a veteran arm who can help eat innings and give their young starters a bit of rest. Mike Minor is likely to be dealt by the freefalling Texas Rangers and will be looking to join a contender.

Minor is 8-4 with an impressive 2.54 ERA making him one of the most sought after trade chips of the deadline. This is the one area the Braves must bite the bullet on and pay what it takes to acquire the veteran lefty.

Acquiring Minor would be the type of homerun move Atlanta needs to push them further into the postseason.   Time for Mike Minor to make a return to Atlanta.
