3. Will Smith
The San Francisco Giants are a team at the bottom of the NL West, all playoff hopes dead and gone. The rumors around the Giants pitching staff have been surfacing all season, mainly for Madison Bumgarner, but also some chatter for their closer, Will Smith. A local boy, Will Smith would fit perfectly into the Braves bullpen.
The soon to be free agent, Will Smith, is very likely to be moved this season for any future help the Giants can find. With the best, or second-best depending on where you read, the Braves farm system has a lot to offer the Giants. In 36 1/3 innings this season, Smith has posted an ERA under 2 with 23 saves. Smith would be the Braves closer as soon as he walked through the door.
