Ender Inciarte finally rejoined the Atlanta Braves roster going 0-4 in his return to the lineup. Despite his recent struggles Atlanta must remain patient considering what Inciarte can bring to Atlanta.

This season in many ways has been an outlier of a season for Ender Inciarte. The Atlanta Braves have gotten great production from the center fielder every season before this one. He has been a good hitter and an amazing run saving center fielder.

This season Inciarte has hit below .220 and hasn’t had the same run saving abilities in center field so far.

While it may be tough the Braves and their fans should remain patient with Inciarte. Ender has earned at least that much considering the seasons he has put together with the D-Backs and with Atlanta.

He is a proven commodity who will bounce back, it is only a matter of time. While there may be some reason for his struggles he is unlikely to continue to struggle at the level he has when healthy this season.

Hitters like Inciarte don’t suddenly forget how to play baseball. He has too much skill and ability not to improve and help the Braves with their postseason push.

It is surprising the number of Braves fans who seemingly want to trade the center fielder. Even if the Braves didn’t need Inciarte on their roster (Which they do) it would make little sense to trade Ender at his lowest value.

Once Ender does bounce back he provides gold glove level defense in center field and a pesky hitter at the plate who makes consistent contact. Though he lacks power he has proven to be a good hitter who when hot is as good at getting on base as anyone in the Braves lineup.

Patience isn’t something that comes easy in an instant gratification society. However, it is the right approach for Atlanta in this case. It is just a matter of time until Ender Inciarte bounces back to the player he is capable of being.
