Kendall Milton Excited to Join Georgia Football

As excited as the Georgia Bulldogs coaches and fans are that Kendall Milton is on the way to Athens, Milton seems to be just as, if not more excited to play at UGA. Greg Biggins of 247sports.com highlights his excitement, as Milton gave the following quote:

"I’m very excited about my decision and feel really good about Georgia. I knew on my official visit to Georgia that I found a home and that was the place for me. I took a lot of visits, unofficial and official and the vibe I had at Georgia was like no other place I visited."

Kendall Milton also gave glowing reviews to the Georgia Bulldogs coaching staff. He specifically mentioned the personality of running backs coach Dell McGee, along with his ability to develop NFL level prospects.

"“He knows how to develop running backs and get them to the League. He has a great reputation and his guys always produce, not just in college but in the NFL too. Off the field, we have very similar personalities. We’re calm and laid back and he’s really easy to talk with. Then between the lines, we can flip the switch and I’m really excited to work with him because I know he’ll help me become the player and person I want to be.”"

Milton also mentioned head coach Kirby Smart’s drive and passion for UGA, his alma mater.

"“He’s a great coach and very hungry. He played at Georgia so he’s very passionate about the school and you know he’s not going anywhere, that’s his dream job. He has a great record there and has already taken Georgia to the college playoff and he badly wants to get back there."

Should Swift turn professional, it will open up the opportunity for Kendall Milton to compete for significant carries in the Dawgs backfield, in tandem with Zamir White. The fact that Kendall Milton is an incredible talent on the field and even better person off the field, means his light will shine bright at Georgia.

Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are the greatest running backs, to play at Georgia in the last decade. With Kendall Milton’s attributes merging with the Bulldogs incredible offensive line, don’t be surprised to see Kendall Milton added to the list of great UGA running backs, when his football career is done.
