2. Can The Falcons Offense Score 30?

The Atlanta Falcons offense broke records in the 2016 season. Eventually, that offense would lead the Falcons to the NFC title and a Super Bowl berth. Since that record-breaking season, the Falcons have not been able to recapture that same offensive magic. The Falcons would score over 30 in just seven games all of last season, winning five of the seven games.

Even with all the firepower, the Atlanta Falcons have had the past few seasons, this team, for whatever reason, has struggled greatly against the Eagles. In the last three meetings, the Eagles have held the Falcons to under 20 points, giving up 15, 10, and 12. Whether it’s the defensive line harassing Matt Ryan or just bad execution, the Falcons have struggled against the Eagles defense. If the Falcons want to have a chance on Sunday, the Falcons offense will have to show up in a big way.

Last week, in Minnesota, the Falcons were shutout for three-quarters of the game, only scoring 12 points in garbage time when the game was already well decided. Hopefully, last week was an anomaly and this Falcons team will wake up this week back in Atlanta. The Eagles did give up 27 points to the Washington Redskins, led by Case Keenum, so this Eagles defense can be scored on.
