5. The Braves Will Not Get Beat in Their Own Park in 2019

Not long ago home field advantage seemed to mean little to the Atlanta Braves. After moving into their new park Atlanta often seemed better on the road than at home. That is no longer the case after the rebuild and having had time to learn their new home.

Atlanta has home field advantage in this series and I simply don’t believe they will allow themselves to be beat in their own park. If the opponent were the Dodgers or the Yankees I would understand the argument.

But facing the Cardinals in round one and being a team starving for postseason success Atlanta won’t let that happen. They are going to defend SunTrust Park meaning even in a hypothetical game five Atlanta is winning this series.
