Atlanta Falcons Drop Third Straight Game in Embarrassing Loss

The Atlanta Falcons dropped their third straight game on Sunday afternoon falling to the Houston Texans 53-32. The Falcons scored thirty-two points and were never really in this game.

The Atlanta Falcons are an absolute disaster of a team, even with their talented roster they are unable to play with seemingly any team. This latest embarrassing loss will have fans demanding action from the Falcon’s owner.

The defense has been absolutely horrendous since Head Coach Dan Quinn has taken over as the defensive coordinator.

Somehow this defensive unit has managed to be even worse than last year’s team. That is saying something considering how many injuries hit the Falcons last year. Now is the time for the Falcons to make a change.

Atlanta needs a new direction and new leadership, the message Dan Quinn preaches seems to have grown stale and ineffective.

It is time for Atlanta to begin thinking about a rebuild and moving on from their current Head Coach. This team has seemingly never recovered from its Super Bowl collapse and may need new leadership to be able to head back in the right direction once again.

Matt Ryan and the offense have been productive so far this season but not when they are needed most.  Ryan seems to be turning his season around after early turnover problems but he is unable to keep up with opposing offenses and carry his terrible defense.

This loss must be a wake-up call for a team that is completely lost and will not be able to recover from their 1-4 start. This isn’t simply a bad start this is a bad team that needs to be given new direction if not a complete rebuild.

As tough as it may be to admit it is time for the Dan Quinn era to end in Atlanta. An era that will forever be haunted by a Super Bowl loss and what could have been.
