With the NFL Trade Deadline less than a week away, the Atlanta Falcons got started early by trading Mohamed Sanu to the New England Patriots. However, the Falcons might not be done yet.

The Atlanta Falcons season went off the rails almost as soon as it started. After an embarrassing start in Minnesota, the team looked as if they would pull themselves up with a win the next week against Philadelphia. Unfortunately, the Eagles win would be the only win for the Falcons this season. After five straight losses and a 1-6 record, the Falcons season seems to be lost.

With the season down the pipes before the halfway point, the Falcons have little to look forward to other than whoever the new coach will be and the NFL Draft. If things keep trending this way for the Falcons, they’re a lock for a top-five pick, minimum. With a top-five pick, the Falcons can begin to rebuild this team for the future.

After the news of Sanu going to New England for a second-round pick, the Falcons are seemingly announcing that the rebuild has started. Sanu was the first domino to fall, but that doesn’t mean the Falcons are done with the trades. There are several options on this team that can continue to help the Falcons accrue more draft assets through trades. Here are a few options.
