Many Georgia Bulldogs fans will be pulling for the Kansas City Chiefs on Super Bowl Sunday. The Chiefs have former Georgia Bulldogs speedster Mecole Hardman on their high flying offense.

The Georgia Bulldogs season may have had a disappointing end, however, their is one former Dawg looking to finally win a championship. Rookie receiver Mecole Hardman will be playing for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday as part of the Chief’s high flying offense.

In a Super Bowl with a lot of unfamiliar faces Hardman will be a player many Dawg’s fans remember fondly.  His big play ability is what the Georgia Bulldogs were so severely lacking this past season and what made him a perfect fit for the Chiefs.

With the San Francisco 49er’s likely to double Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill often Hardman is going to have a big opportunity to make a name for himself in the Super Bowl. He is unlikely to see a single double team and will get plenty of chances to stretch the field.

Whether it is a jet sweep or a catch downfield the Chiefs will find ways to put the ball in Hardman’s hands on Sunday and give the rookie the chance to use his speed.

Hardman had 6-touchdown grabs on the season with 538-receiving yards. Those numbers aren’t quite indicative of his big play ability with his average yards per catch sitting at 20.7 he is a big play waiting to happen.

While Mecole Hardman’s time with the Dawgs may have come to a very disappointing end he has a chance in his rookie season to finally win a championship.  A chance very few rookies receive while playing a pivotal role on their team.   Hardman will certainly have plenty of chances on one of the best offensive teams in modern era.
