Yesterday, Alex Anthopoulos was given an extension and promotion that will keep him with the Atlanta Braves through 2024. Over the past three seasons, Alex Anthopoulos has reshaped this roster into a perennial contender with wise moves over his time.

In 2017, the Atlanta Braves were in dire straits when John Coppolella, the general manager for Atlanta at the time, was banned from baseball for life. Those names would help AA solidify his success in Atlanta, leading to the contract extension and promotion he was granted yesterday.
