4. Jarred Kelenic

If you aren't a top-paid starter and nearly half your at-bats end with you failing to put the ball in play, you're in trouble. This is where Kelenic finds himself despite being handed a great opportunity to win a starting job. Not only is Ronald Acuna Jr. expected to be out until May, but the team recently lost outfielder Jurickson Profar to a frustrating suspension. Kelenic just needed to be close to capable of maintaining a starting role not only for the next few weeks but perhaps deep into the summer.

What has actually transpired has left many Braves fans believing Gwinnett Stripers outfielder Alex Verdugo is likely the better option. It is hard to argue against this when you consider Verdugo's resume against Kelenic. The outfielder is going to need an incredible hot streak for Atlanta to again consider his future.

This might seem an overreaction to a handful of games until you consider the fact that Kelenic's struggles date back to the end of last season. The continued frustrations have left it obvious Atlanta needs to make a change.

5. Eli White

After Profar's suspension, Atlanta's current starting outfield options are Michael Harris, Jarred Kelenic, Eli White, Stuart Fairchild, and Bryan De La Cruz. This is alarmingly close to a Triple-A group when you consider the lack of offensive accomplishments. Harris is the lone starter standing, leaving the Braves attempting to piece the rest together. How much do the Braves value the speed and defense of White?

This is a question the team is likely going to find an answer to in the coming days. Fairchild can be used as a pinch runner and defensive replacement. Bryan De La Cruz and Alex Verdugo are likely going to be your best offensive options. This leaves Kelenic and White as the obvious odd men out when the time to make a move comes.

With how wide open Atlanta's current outfield situation is, this could always shift. For now, White remains on the roster bubble and is likely one of the first moves the team makes when they are ready for a change.
