4. Eli White
How long will Eli White's shocking offensive start continue? The thirty-year-old outfielder was believed to be a simple depth addition. Much like Nick Allen, the belief was that White would provide value with his speed and as a potential defensive replacement. Bryan De La Cruz and Jarred Kelenic would both have to struggle at a high level for White to even earn at-bats.
This is exactly what happened, and the outfielder hasn't wasted his opportunity. While it is fair to wonder how maintainable this is with White's history, there is no denying the impact. Coming up with consistently clutch hits and finding ways on base, White has made himself a surprise asset.
If this level of production continues, the team is going to have a very real debate on their hands once fully healthy. Verdugo is far more established, but White is making it a surprisingly tough decision as the Braves continue to get healthier.
5. Drake Baldwin
Baldwin is different from the rest of this list in the fact that he has long been considered one of Atlanta's best prospects. The catcher was expected to be ready at some point in the 2025 season and make a push for a roster spot. It wasn't until an early spring training injury to Sean Murphy that the door was open for Baldwin to make the roster.
Taking advantage of a strong spring performance, Baldwin claimed the starting job and has made a demotion impossible. While Sean Murphy has since taken back starting duties since proving healthy, Baldwin is still consistently finding his way into the lineup.
It is simply impossible to deny how ready the young catcher was to take that next step. Baldwin has been solid behind the plate and a strong contributor offensively. It is easy to get excited about what a bright future the Braves have at the position.
