Bijan Robinson may not be a team captain yet, but he seems to quickly be developing into a young leader in the Atlanta Falcons' locker room. And while you'd expect any team leader to hype up their team's first-round draft pick, we saw last night that not every franchise operates that way.
Robinson, though, had the perfect response to the Falcons selecting Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Jalon Walker with the No. 15 pick on Thursday night.
😤🔥.

Of course, who didn't love this pick, except for the rest of the NFC South?
Walker was arguably a top-five talent in this draft. He was a team captain for the Bulldogs. He's probably the best pure pass-rushing prospect the Falcons have drafted in years. He has the potential to immediately transform this defense at a position of need.
And now he's being welcomed with open arms into the locker room.
It can be easy to see things like the Kirk Cousins drama and worry about team culture. But when you have a guy like Robinson, who isn't a captain and whose job isn't necessarily made any easier by an addition on the defensive side of the ball, instantly hyping up your draft pick? That's a good sign.
Falcons fans felt like they could run through a brick wall when that Walker pick was announced, and Robinson ramped that feeling up to 11.
No matter what you thought about the trade for James Pearce, the Walker addition is probably the most exciting draft pick the Falcons have made since landing Robinson himself back in 2023.
