The Atlanta Dream have been through a rough patch at this part of the season, and with the All-Star break approaching, the hope is that they can get back on track soon. Most of the Dream's problems have been self-inflicted, but once they find a rhythm, everything should be fine.
Though they haven't dealt with injuries a lot this season, they've been missing Brionna Jones, who hasn't played yet this season as she recovers from a meniscus injury. For the time being, the Dream have relied on Angel Reese, Naz Hillmon and Madina Okot in the frontcourt.
Jones was a big part of the Dream's success last season, and it earned her an All-Star nod. It's hard to replicate what she brings to the court, and the Dream are definitely waiting for her return to come sooner rather than later.
With the Dream in their current slump, Jones coming back would be a blessing in disguise for the team.
Brionna Jones should help the Dream out of their slump
The Dream could use another presence in the paint, and Jones would fit that bill perfectly. They did most of the dirty work for the team in the interior last season, whether it was scoring or getting rebounds. Her defense was key as well, and pairing her and Reese together could make it hard for the opposing team.
Not only does Jones bring a presence on the inside, but she's developed her game to the point where she can step out to the perimeter and knock down 3-pointers. It's a staple in Karl Smesko's offense, and she looked comfortable in that role last season.
The good news is that it looks like Jones is close to returning, as she's been seen working out before the games. Before their game against the Los Angeles Sparks, she noted that she's about 85% healthy, which means she could be back as soon as their next game.

It would be a breath of fresh air for the Dream, especially at this point of the season.
