OTAs have been taking place around the league for the past two weeks. The Atlanta Falcons had things kick off on May 27 and have practices running through June 5.

Teams are using these practices to get a first glance at their rosters, but they will still be looking at potential additions. And a former Falcon defender is looking to land inside the NFC South.

According to Mike Garafolo, the Saints are hosting DL Jonathan Bullard for a visit on Monday.

Jonathan Bullard Is Visiting With the New Orleans Saints

Bullard spent the last three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, starting in 31 games from 2023-2024. Over those three campaigns, he had 108 total tackles, 15 TFLs, six QB hits, and three sacks.

Prior to signing with the Vikings, he played the 2021 season with the Falcons. He appeared in nine games (four starts) and missed some time due to an ankle injury. Regardless, in those outings, he had had 21 total tackles and one QB hit. According to PFF, Bullard posted a 56.7 overall grade (113th among 224 graded defensive linemen), 56.7 pass-rush grade (150th among 224 graded defensive linemen), and a 58.9 run-defense grade (73rd among 224 graded defensive linemen).

Despite being a serviceable guy along the defensive line, the 31-year-old is still on the open market. Things have gotten to the point where both sides want to get a closer look at each other, which is why the visit is happening.

The Saints are in the midst of a rebuild after they hired Kellen Moore to be the head coach while also having quarterback Derek Carr retire.

They have Cameron Jordan, Davon Godchaux, and Carl Granderson being the driving force along the defensive line, but they are looking to add some depth. Bullard is someone who could fit the bill, and if he does, he will get a chance to play against his former team twice in 2025.
