Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore has landed a new opportunity for the 2025 season after missing all of 2024 with a leg injury. According to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, Moore agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings have agreed to terms with WR Rondale Moore, who took his first visit last week to Minnesota. He was a big-time playmaker in Arizona who suffered a serious leg injury last summer in Atlanta.

The veteran wide receiver initially visited the Vikings last week as part of his free agency tour. In addition to visiting the Vikings, Moore reportedly met with the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets.

The 24-year-old wide receiver was acquired by the Falcons last year in a trade from the Arizona Cardinals.
However, Moore never played a single snap for Atlanta because of a season-ending injury last summer. It was a devastating loss for the Falcons, who revamped their receiver unit around former first-round pick Drake London.
Along with the acquisition of Moore, the Falcons signed veterans Darnell Mooney (three-year, $39 million deal) and Ray-Ray McCloud (two-year, $5 million) to multi-year contracts. Those moves paid off but Atlanta likely wished they had Moore on the field too.
That being said, Moore now gets a fresh start with a Minnesota offense that was ranked sixth in passing yards per game (237.8) and ninth in scoring (25.4 points per game).
The former Falcon will have an uphill battle to make the Vikings’ 53-man roster as Jalen Nailor was exceptional as the WR3 – 28 receptions (42 targets) for 414 yards and six touchdowns. However, Moore chose the Vikings of all the teams he visited, so we will see what he can do in training camp and preseason.
Meanwhile, we will see what the Falcons will do at wide receiver. The team has London, McCloud, and Mooney locked in. However, they could explore adding another player to the group either in the later stages of free agency or through the draft.
