The NFL offseason is flying by, and it'll only be a matter of time before the Atlanta Falcons are thrown into another battle for divisional supremacy. It's been nearly a decade since the Falcons last won the NFC South title, leaving time to tell if Raheem Morris' team has what it takes to dethrone the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who've won the division four straight seasons.

In other words, the Falcons will take any competitive edge they can get over the Buccaneers, as well as their other NFC South rivals. Fortunately, the latest news coming out of Tampa will likely bring a smile to Atlanta fans' faces.

Falcons News: Rachaad White's Cryptic Post Casts Doubt Over Buccaneers Future

Buccaneers running back Rachaad White raised eyebrows on Friday with a cryptic post that's left people wondering if his Tampa Bay stint is nearing its end.

In the below screenshot of his recent Instagram story (h/t @NFLSTROUD), White posted the words "one last" along with horse and cowboy emojis, seemingly implying that the 2025 campaign will be his "one last ride" with the Buccaneers. The upcoming season will mark the final year on the 26-year-old RB's rookie deal before he hits NFL free agency.

After that post, all eyes are on White, who was drafted 91st overall by the Buccaneers in 2022. The former Arizona State RB began his NFL career as Leonard Fournette's backup but quickly found himself in the starter's role in Year 2 when he racked up 990 rushing yards on 272 carries and 549 receiving yards on 64 catches, scoring nine touchdowns along the way.

White started in 15 of his 16 appearances last season; however, his usage declined due to fellow RB Bucky Irving's breakout performance. The exciting rookie finished his debut season with 254 touches for 1,514 scrimmage yards and eight TDs, whereas White posted a 195-1,006-9 stat line while playing nearly 300 fewer offensive snaps than the previous campaign.

With Irving likely opening the 2025 campaign as the RB1 in Tampa, it wouldn't be surprising if the next season is Irving's last with the Buccaneers. He likely wants to play for a team that will give him a bigger role in the backfield, which won't happen with the Bucs as long as Irving is dominant and healthy.

Having said that, Falcons fans certainly won't mind if they won't see much of White after 2025. The Kansas City, MO native has 424 total scrimmage yards and two TDs in six career clashes with Atlanta, which includes a 102-yard performance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during Week 14 of the 2023 season.

As the Buccaneers continue to navigate White's uncertain future, the Falcons currently hold the second-best odds (+240) to win the NFC South in 2025, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
