Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks preview: Rematch in Wisconsin

facebooktwitterreddit

Well, Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks was certainly no fun.

On Saturday, the Atlanta Hawks should savor the opportunity to head into the Bradley Center and get some much-wanted revenge on the Bucks after Friday’s 107-77 walloping, dealt largely by the hands of Jared Dudley.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak and tonight, hopefully the team can begin another one.

Of course, that means the team will have to do better than 40.8 percent from the floor. And 17.4 percent from 3. And turn the ball over fewer than 22 times. None of those things happened yesterday, but I would be shocked if any of them happened again tonight.

Much of the burden will fall on DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver bouncing back from woeful performances yesterday. Carroll didn’t hit any of his six shots, while Korver went just 1-for-8. The two also combined to go 1-for-11 from the 3-point line. That doesn’t happen much, but when it does–it’s clearly bad news for the team.

Fortunately for Atlanta Hawks fan this season, the team has lost back-to-back on just two separate occasions. I wouldn’t expect that to happen again tonight… then again, I also didn’t expect the Hawks to lose yesterday so I’m not helping anyone out too much.
