Third Quarter

Score Before: 10-9 Nebraska

Score After: 24-12 Nebraska

More of the same for Georgia in this quarter, but it was a bit worse. The Dawgs again turned the ball over and Nebraska again capitalized and scored a touchdown. This time it was thanks to a Hutson Mason interception.

Later in the quarter, Georgia had Nebraska on their own one yard line, but somehow managed to let up a 99-yard touchdown pass to Quincy Enunwa. That pass is the longest of the year so far, and also the longest touchdown pass in bowl history according to ESPN Stats & Info.

During the end of the quarter, Georgia was driving to the end zone yet again, but who knows whether or not they will get into the end zone. Morgan Marshall kicked another field goal during this quarter, but the Dawgs are going to have to stop settling for three and make a push if they are going to come back and win this one.

Mason struggled visibly in this quarter, but I also have to give Nebraska’s defense credit. They have put pressure on Mason constantly and have also limited Georgia to just 56 yards on the ground.
