It is, officially, basketball season, and that includes the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. After an up and down season that resulted in a 16-17 overall record with a 6-12 mark in ACC play during the 2013-2014 campaign, there are mixed expectations for this season’s crew. Brian Gregory is perceived as being on the “hot seat” in some circles, but there has also been a great deal of roster turnover, including the loss of both Daniel Miller and Trae Golden, among others.

The Jackets enter the season with a largely unproven roster, but as always, the schedule in the ACC is a gauntlet and nothing is simply given to teams with inexperienced groups. As a result, Georgia Tech has been projected to finish an ugly 13th in the ACC by the assembled media, and that reflects the national perception of the program at the moment.
Still, the show must go on in Atlanta, and without further ado, let’s take a look at what to expect from the 2014-2015 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
