The Atlanta Falcons have been operating defensively without one of their few impact players since the Week 4 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. However, Mike Nolan’s group will soon see an infusion in talent, as safety William Moore returned to practice on Wednesday.

Moore was placed on the “IR – Designated to Return” list following a shoulder injury, but he is allowed to be activated as early as Week 13, and according to his comments on Wednesday, he is on track to return.
William Moore said he feels 100 percent

News that Moore is “100 percent” healthy is a huge windfall for the Atlanta Falcons, especially on the back-end of a struggling defense. The veteran safety isn’t necessarily an elite pass defender, but Moore is easily the biggest hitter on the Falcons roster, and his shear presence and impact will undoubtedly be helpful in steadying the league’s worst pass defense.
William Moore won’t be back in time to help the Falcons on Sunday against Cleveland, but he’s coming, and that is fantastic news for all involved.
