Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat preview: On the road again
After yet another come-from-behind win against the Boston Celtics last night–largely thanks to Kyle Korver–the Hawks will get back on the road today after a four-game home stand.
The first stop comes down in Miami where the Heat will be looking for some revenge after Atlanta got the best of a 114-103 game in Philips Arena. Since then, the Heat have struggled mightily on the offensive side of the ball. They have failed to score more than 100 points in the eight games since the first matchup, going 4-4 in the process.
Last year, the Heat scored 102.2 points per game, while the team is managing just 95.7 points per game this season.
Monday night, the Heat were destroyed by the Washington Wizards 107-86 after Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers were the only three players to get into double figures scoring.
The Heat have been struggling on both sides of the ball of late, and if the Hawks are able to work out their early-game issues this could be a real blowout given both teams’ play in recent games.
