Georgia Tech vs. Clemson preview: Stop the Bleeding

For all intents and purposes, the season is over for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. That may be harsh to say, but at 11-14 overall and with three additional games against top-15 opponents, things aren’t going particularly well in Atlanta. However, the schedule continues on Monday with a home contest against the Clemson Tigers.

The Jackets have lost back-to-back games, against Virginia Tech and Florida State, in excruciating fashion. However, Georgia Tech is listed as the “favorite” by a 3-point margin according to KenPom, and the Ramblin’ Wreck continue to have the feel of a team that is underperforming based on their overall play.

Monday night’s game against Clemson is certainly winnable, especially at home, but that could be said for both of the last two contests for the Jackets. Georgia Tech is seeking a win to grab something approaching momentum as they head into the home stretch, and this is an opportunity.
