Atlanta Sports Fans: Let Me Introduce Myself

facebooktwitterreddit

Good evening Atlanta Sports Fans!

My name is Chris Headrick, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the regulars and visitors to ATL All Day.

Beginning officially tomorrow, I’ll be taking over as the Editor and Chief of the site, and trying to fill some rather large shoes left by the departing Brad Rowland and Carlos Collazo (be sure and check out their farewell post)

Of course for many of you, we’ll need no introduction. I was an editor on Tomahawk Take (an MLB Division site on the FanSided Network) for a long time, and got to know a great many of you on Twitter and Facebook. I’ve also been the Editorial Director of the Locals and Extras Divisions of the FanSided Network since April of 2014.

I’m excited about getting back into writing about the sports and teams I love, and managing a close-knit group of staffers who also love to share their enthusiasm for sports. We have a wonderful staff here, and we welcome any and all who share a passion for Atlanta Sports and want to share your thoughts with the world, to come and join our team.

As literally a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan (and a bit of a nut about it), and a longtime Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons fan, I’ve felt so blessed in the past to have had such wonderful opportunities to express that passion, and I feel fortunate to be able to get back into it again.

With the NFL Mock Drafts, recent NFL Combine, MLB Spring Training and upcoming season, the coming basketball tournaments and March Madness, and all the exciting things happening daily with Atlanta area sports, it’s a wonderful time of year to be a fan.

My goal is to give you all the news and information you need to fuel those flames that motivate you as fans.

More from ATL All Day

You’ll find that we will continue to give you the same content, analysis, and insight into the all Atlanta Sports that you’ve come to expect from the site, and we won’t miss a beat.

You may even find us giving you some new features and new content as we move along on this journey as fans.

I love it when  you let us know what you think too, so I urge fan interaction, comments on articles, and love it when like-minded fans hit me up on Twitter to share thoughts, raves, and yes even rants. It’s all a part of being in a family of sports fans.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!
