By Keith Holt
The Hawks drop a heartbreaker in overtime to the Nets 120-115. With this loss the series is tied 2-2 and ensures that Atlanta will have to come back to New York one more time as there will be a game 6 in this series.
The first quarter started off good for the Hawks who appeared to have found their stride offensively and up to the final minutes of the period appeared to be in control. Brooklyn closed out the quarter with a 9-4 to take a 1 point advantage at the end of the session. Atlanta did look good from outside as they were 4 for 4 from three-point range. The Nets got a shot in the arm from Deron Williams who has struggled earlier in the series but popped off with 11 first quarter points this evening.

The Hawks continued to assert themselves in the 3rd quarter as they looked more like the team we expected to start this series. Going up by as many as 12 our boys led all the way through the period. The Nets only got as close within 7 points during the session.
The 4th quarter started to look like the earlier games of this series as Nets brought themselves back into the game and used an 11-3 run to tie game with 10 minutes left in the contest. Deron Williams continued to roll like his 2010 self as he had personal 8-0 run to give the Nets their 1st lead of the 2nd half. Williams hit 4 three pointers in the 4th quarter to pace Nets. The teams battled back and forth as Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 9 points in the last period of regulation.
The two teams ended up tied 104-104 after a Paul Millsap drive to the basket to tie the game with 16 seconds left. Atlanta had a chance to close the game out after a Brooklyn miss with 6.5 seconds left but Millsap could not get not get the final shot off to end regulation.
