The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets host the Tulane Green Wave at 3:30 PM on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

In the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 69-6 victory over the Alcorn State Braves last Thursday, the Tech offense dazzled, as the Ramblin’ Wreck rushed for almost 500 yards. Some of the new starters on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets offense like B-backs Patrick Skov and Marcus Marshall reassured fans that the loss of players like Synjyn Days and Zach Laskey would not be detrimental to the offense, while demonstrating the unique skill-sets that each of these players bring to the table.

Quarterback Justin Thomas played only one quarter against Alcorn State, but was impressive nonetheless, showcasing his management of Paul Johnson’s triple option offense and also his arm, evidenced on an 18 yard touchdown pass to WR Micheal Summers on an incredibly accurate throw.

More from Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see if the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets can continue to carry their success from last season and the first game throughout the course of this year. Saturday’s game against Tulane presents another opportunity for some players to showcase their skills.

Not overlooking Tulane, but the Green Wave are coming off a 37-7 beat down at home at the hands of the Duke Blue Devils, and are not really a threat to the Jackets offensively. With that in mind, the focus of Saturday’s game will be on how the offense performs in preparation for their first real test of the 2015 season the next week against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in South Bend, Indiana.
