The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost their second consecutive game on Saturday to the Duke Blue Devils by a final score of 34-20.

The Jackets came into Saturday’s game trying to get back on track after a loss in Week 3 at Notre Dame. Quite the opposite happened. The Georgia Tech offense fell flat again, giving up 3 turnovers to Duke on the day, and was never truly able to obtain any momentum in the contest. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets move to 2-2 after the loss and 0-1 in the ACC.

This week the Duke Blue Devils put the ACC Coastal on notice, showing that they will be a factor in the ACC Coastal Division race. Their defense shut down the usually formidable Georgia Tech triple option and constantly pressured quarterback Justin Thomas all game long.
Going forward, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets must improve on a multiple of fronts, but especially on the offensive end. When your offensive scheme is predicated on controlling the line of scrimmage every drive, you cannot expect to defeat your opponents when they can pressure the QB and rush through unfettered.
