The Georgia Bulldogs looked awful versus the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, losing 38-10. What did we learn from this beatdown at home in the rain?

Well, at least the letdown game is now out of the way. When does Georgia start the year 5-0 anyway? If we were going to lose this regular season, I’d rather it be to Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide than just about anybody in the SEC.

So the Georgia Bulldogs now sit a 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in the SEC after the first Saturday in October. Where does UGA go from here? Do they pick themselves up and finish 2015 strong or do they choose to not recover from a tough loss at home to a tremendously talented Alabama football team?

In the Mark Richt Era, the Georgia Bulldogs normally need, or just end up dealing with, an early loss to rally behind to play their best football late in the season. While that can still happen, it’s difficult to take anything positive from a lackluster showing in the rain at home versus the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Without further ado, let’s hopefully learn a few things from this pitiful showing and move on to Week 6 in Knoxville versus the Tennessee Volunteers. Here are the four things that I picked up in this 38-10 Week 5 loss to Alabama.
