  1. Braves are Getting Better Fast

The most interesting and encouraging thing being discussed around Braves camp is the fact that they are headed in the right direction and a team that is getting better. After the end to the season that they had last season it isn’t hard to see the Braves taking another step in the right direction as they move into the new stadium.

With veteran place holders on the roster who will improve the overall production and a young core of talent only getting better the Braves have the best chance they have had to play good baseball in quite some time. That isn’t to say that they will be returning to postseason play this season rather that they are a team that is headed in the right direction and could play .500 with a roster that has a lot of talent.

Brandon Phillips, Bartolo Colon, Matt Kemp, and R.A. Dickey will all provide improvements at positions the Braves have struggled at over the past two seasons. They may not be postseason bound but they are a team that is trending up and should be much better to watch this season.
