The Atlanta Braves have had, throughout its history, many great players. The following five players from the 1980s are underappreciated by most fans and experts.

3. P- Rick Camp

As mentioned, the starting rotation for the Atlanta Braves didn’t win many awards. Pitcher Rick Camp deserves mention here, though. While he pitched with the Braves starting in 1974, according to mlb.com, Camp went 48-41 in his six years with the Braves (during the 1980s), with 3.21 ERA, and 47 saves. He had a winning record and saved 47 games. Yes, he is underappreciated.

He was also a part of the famous 18 inning game in 1985. And this fearless writer was at that game, as a very young child.
