  1. Jim Johnson

The Braves are entering the year with former Orioles closer Jim Johnson expected to handle save situations. Should Johnson be trusted considering his struggles? That is a tough question to answer that almost deserves an article in itself.

Johnson was an elite closing option with the Orioles and now seems to have the plague in most drafts because of his struggles over the past few seasons. While being wary of Johnson is understandable there is also no reason not to take a closer that will likely be used in most all of the teams wins.

The Braves are not a team that are going to be blowing many other teams off the field and because of that it stands to reason that many of their wins will be saves for Johnson assuming that he holds onto the role. Because of the cheap price and capability and less because of trusting Johnson he is well worth  his current price.

Trading for Johnson is a good idea as well if your team has already drafted. Assuming you are not in a league full of other Braves fans his value is likely to be low and his upside as a closer is worth taking the time to target Johnson.
