Atlanta Braves: Moves They Should Make This Off-season
By Kit Anderson
1. Bring Todd Frazier to Atlanta
The Atlanta Braves have lacked a true starting third baseman since Chipper Jones was in a Braves’ uniform. That could be fixed this off-season by bringing Todd Frazier to Atlanta. While Frazier may be a tough target to bring to the Braves he would be well worth it.
Coming off of his worst season to date may seem like an odd time to target the veteran, but it would be a risk worth taking. Frazier is much better than his numbers have been this season and may come at a discounted price because of his struggles.
He would bring more power to a line drive hitting line-up and slot well at third-base offering a solid starting option at third base and giving the Braves a player that is likely to rebound and put up better numbers helping a young and improving offense for the Braves.
Frazier would help a young infield as well and offer the Braves a name that is going to help sell tickets and bring fans to the park. While there may be other viable options hitting the open market for the Braves Frazier is the best fit and who the Braves should be bringing to Atlanta.
