5. Could We see Another Reunion in Atlanta?

Evan Gattis is one of the better stories the Braves have seen in recent years. The powerful slugger is getting set to hit free agency and the Braves could add the slugger as a catcher. Though his defense isn’t fantastic he can make up for it with his bat being a career .250 hitter at catcher.

He would be an upgrade over Kurt Suzuki and offer a young roster World Series experience. He would be a great addition to a roster short of power.

Adding Kimbrel, Gattis, and several other bench additions could be the best move for the Braves as opposed to making one big flashy signing.

Though with plenty of cash the Braves seem poised to chase at least one of the big targets in the upcoming free agent market.

Regardless, the Braves seem close to contention for a World Series Title with a few notable additions.
