Although he is known for playing in Kansas City (and his funny introductions), Tony Gonzalez spent five years in Atlanta and retired a Dirty Bird. He came to Atlanta in the hope of winning a Super Bowl and although that didn’t happen, Gonzalez did help Atlanta have one of their most successful periods ever where Gonzalez earned his first playoff win. In his 5 years in Atlanta, Gonzalez had 409 receptions for 4,187 yards and 35 touchdowns while making the Pro Bowl 4 times and the All-Pro team once.

Despite having slightly worse stats than Alge Crumpler, I put Tony Gonzalez ahead because of his overall talent, the success of his teams, and how he was able to perform at Alge’s level while being significantly older.
