The third edition of the 2019 NBA Mock draft, takes a fresh look at the possible outcome for all NBA teams, and especially focuses on the Atlanta Hawks perspective.

Having more draft assets than any other NBA team in the 2019 NBA Draft following the Taurean Prince trade, the Atlanta Hawks are poised to be the biggest movers and shakers in the draft this year, should general manager Travis Schlenk so choose. This makes this year’s draft even more exciting than a typical draft from for Hawks fans, the exception being last year’s draft, in which Atlanta executed the famous trade for Trae Young. Spoiler alert: the Atlanta Hawks do make a trade in this mock draft, but it’s not the big move that many are anticipating. I also take a look at a viable stash prospect for Atlanta. So without further adieu, I present the Atl All Day 2019 NBA Mock Draft 3.0.

Forward. New Orleans Pelicans. Zion Williamson. 1. player. 69.
<span style=

211.
6’3 170 • Murray State

2018 Stats: PPG:24.5 REB:5.7 APG:10 STL:1.8 BLK:0.8 FG%:49.9 2P%:55.6 3P%:36.3 FT%:81.3

The Memphis Grizzlies have zeroed in on ultra athletic point guard Ja Morant with the number two pick in this year’s draft. Before settling on Morant the team attempted to secure a meeting with shooting guard R.J. Barrett, but were denied making their decision easier. Ja Morant is thought to be similar to Washington Wizards Guard John Wall. His ten assists per game led the NCAA last season.
. Point Guard. Memphis Grizzlies. Ja Morant. 2. player

ESPN takes a closer look at Ja Morant in this scouting video:

3. player. 27.
6’6 208 • Duke University

2018 Stats: Pts:22.6 REB:7.7 APG:4.3 STL:0.9 BLK:0.4 FG%:45.4 2P%:52.9 3P%:30.8 FT%:66.5

R.J. Barrett is expected to be the third pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The question is rather he will be playing for the New York Knicks, or heading to another club in exchange for a superstar, to help the Knicks attempt to win right away. Barrett will probably not be teaming up with college roommate Zion Williamson as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans, now that Knicks top trade target Anthony Davis is on the way to LA. Barrett certainly prefers to play for New York, as he has decided he will not work out for any other teams. Barrett has a sky high ceiling if he can improve his efficiency. He is highly competitive which can be a double-edged sword. R.J. is a willing passer, but like many great players he is going to have to learn to trust his teammates, as opposed to taking bad shots in late game situations.
. Shooting Guard. New York Knicks. R.J. Barrett

R.J. Barrett has been rumored to be a draft day trade target the Atlanta Hawks. For an in depth look at the strengths and weaknesses of Barrett, take a few moments to view this ESPN YouTube scouting video.
