4. Pay For Top Bullpen Arms or Ride With Atlanta’s Rebounding Bullpen

The job the Atlanta Braves bullpen has done over the last two months has been impressive. They have gone from one of the worst in baseball to one of the best. Their production helped Atlanta’s torrid month of June helping to cover what was some spotty starting pitching.

With this in mind, it is time for Atlanta to pay for a top reliever or to ride with the bullpen they have. Avoid trading for fringe bullpen arms as they have in recent memory hoping they will magically fix the pen’s shortcomings.

Atlanta’s pen has plenty of question marks but they are better off with the arms they have than paying for comparable pitchers to attempt to piece the pen together.

The biggest need for Atlanta is a closer or setup option to allow them to shift back each of their late-inning pitchers. Any other addition is a pointless one for a team looking to finally make it back to postseason relevance.
