Falcons are ruining the best of Bijan Robinson and Drake London

There were a lot ofsad moments from the Atlanta Falcons' lossagainst the Carolina Panthers. Whether it was Cooper Rush starting the game with a turnover or Jack Strand ending with one, thereweren't a lot of good things that camefrom the team's home opener, and the fans let them know all day.

The most disappointing moment was when Bijan Robinson and Drake London were seen talking to each other on the bench. There's no telling what they were saying to each other, but during a game like that, it couldn't have been many good things. In that moment, the television showed two of the Falcons' best players trying to find the answers on how to turn things around before they get out of hand.

The truth is that the Falcons were able to select Robinson and London because they weren't a very good team to start with. As the seasons go on, both of those players have had to be a part of the rollercoaster, and no one knows when the good times will finally come for the team. What the Falcons don't want to happen is that they waste their potential during these down years and they never use them to make a real impact, like going on a postseason run.

Are the Falcons using up Bijan Robinson and Drake London's prime?

The Falcons signed London to an extension during the offseason because they believe he's their WR1 for now and the future. Everyone knows what he's capable of, but if the Falcons continue to go at this rate, London won't be able to fully maximize his talents. Two weeks into the season, he hasn't had that many targets, and that could be due to the inconsistency at quarterback.

Every year since London has been in the league, he's had a different starting quarterback to start the season, and not only is that not good for the team, but it's not good for him. Nonetheless, he still finds ways to make plays when his number is called, but unfortunately, it hasn't resulted in a lot of wins.

Falcons have to start winning now before it's too late

The same could be said for Robinson, who is arguably the best running back in the league. Through Robinson's four years in the league, he has some of the best film, but it doesn't mean much if the team isn't winning. The Falcons are using him in every way they can on the field, but what if by the time the Falcons actually figure out the quarterback position, he's on the decline?

The Falcons don't want to look up years from now and say they finally have the roster to make a postseason run, and London or Robinson are past their prime. That's not fair to two players who have shown they are at the top of their game now, and they're not being rewarded on the field for what they're doing.
